1st - All posts can be edited at anytime...even if I wrote them months ago. My aim is to download this journal in the end and have a "memoir" of my trip.
Anyway, FAQs...
Q/ How do I navigate around your site?
A/ You can navigate this blog by using the links list on the left side of the webpage, or by using the archive (also in the left links list).
For simple navigation, from the starting post, keep clicking the left and right green arrows at the top right of the starting post (and subsequent posts). Clicking left goes to the previous post (by date) and clicking right goes to the next post (by date).
Q/ And so, people will no doubt be asking me where they can email me, so what's my email address?
A/ It is...speed294@yahoo.co.uk -in an emergency, if Yahoo is down, you can email me at:-

Alternatively, while the facility is available, you can email me from this site by clicking the link in the left links list or click here!!!
Q/ Why can't I comment on your posts?
A/ That's because this site is more like a newsletter rather than a community. Family, friends, the guy down the street and some computer engineer in Timbuktu can all access this site...it's open to the public. That's why I've disabled commenting so that there's no chance of "dodgy" or "hostile" comments being read by everyone. If you want to stay in touch or comment about something, then email me. That works too.
It's also the reason why I have no friends listed in this journal. I could joke and say that I have no friends, but instead I'll say it's because I'd like to keep my friends, and their journals, private. By adding friends, anyone visiting my journal can gain access to their journal. Best to keep that private.
You're here for one reason - we don't want to complicate the issue.
Q/ Why is your email address speed294@yahoo.co.uk?
A/ It's my first email address that I've had online. When I was younger, I had a favourite "junk" movie...it was Speed (1994) with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. I used the word as an internet handle (or name) when in chat rooms. It kinda stuck. Coupled with my roll number from when I was in boarding school (1986 to 1989) and that was my email address.
Q/ Why "Live The Rewind"?

A/ I don't need to explain everything, but when I get asked about it, I suppose it makes my life easier. So I will... explain :o)
After my odyssey ends, this journal will allow me to relive my memories of my trip...I can wind or rewind back to the times I'm about to enjoy. Through my journal, I can live the rewind. The phrase was inspired by a song sung by a guy called Pete Palladino. The song If I Ever Come To Mind has the line...
"...and if I ever come to mind, I hope you enjoy the rewind..."
I hope you do enjoy the rewind...and while I'm out there, I hope you'll also live it with me.
Q/ What is "SingleTeer"?
A/ I'm in an online community where I share common interests with some friends. Through this community, we had the opportunity to meet a young man named Tom Lenk. During a Q&A session with Tom, he faked being upset by sliding his little finger down his cheek slowly and saying..."Single Tear".
We called our community Single Tear. We called ourselves the SingleTeers (like Musketeers, only not).
I'm a SingleTeer...this is my Odyssey.
Q/ What's a LIVE post and a REWIND post?

A/ Note as follows...
1A/ For posts where I am writing from a destination about experiences, travels and miscellaneous items in that destination, then the title of that post will be prefixed by the word LIVE. In this case, LIVE is pronounced like DIVE not GIVE.
1B/ For posts where I am retrospectively or retroactively writing about a destination after the fact, then the title of that post will be prefixed by the word REWIND.
Makes sense, don't you think?
